inSpring GAIN Pipeline Program
inSpring is an education and workforce development platform assisting academic institutions and healthcare organizations accelerate the education and retention of diverse nursing talent. The inSpring Global Advancement of International Nurses (GAIN) Pipeline Program provides candidates with individualized, end-to-end support, starting with their initial application, through their nursing education, and during transition into the professional nursing workforce.
The Six Step GAIN Pipeline
1. Screening and Assessment
inSpring begins by helping prospective international students explore the various opportunities and necessary steps to embark on a nursing education in the United States. We offer a variety of Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) educational pathways, including at highly-ranked academic partner institutions. Candidates are screened for eligibility through the application process to the inSpring GAIN Pipeline Program. Each eligible candidate undergoes a thorough interview to further determine their eligibility and address any questions they may have. Whether the path forward requires language training, pre-requisite academic coursework or financing, inSpring’s team of experts help navigate each step of the process. Upon selection, candidates receive a Conditional Offer to join in the inSpring GAIN Pipeline.
2. Preparation
Candidates must fulfill pre-requisite academic coursework, demonstrate English proficiency, and undergo financial eligibility screening before applying for the ABSN program, to meet program requirements. inSpring has well-established partnerships to assist candidates in completing the necessary pre-requisite nursing coursework. Additionally, we provide approved English Proficiency Examinations, and connect candidates with lenders to assisting them in financing their education. inSpring has partnered with ATI to promote candidate readiness for rigorous ABSN programs. Each candidate will complete a 4-6 week, ATI TEAS SmartPrep course, to strengthen candidate skill levels in Reading, Math, Science, English & Language Use.
3. Transition to the US
Upon acceptance into an ABSN partner program, our inSpring team of advisors will provide support for your transition to the U.S. This includes assistance in preparing for your F1 student visa interview, arranging transportation and housing, and ensuring you meet all necessary academic and clinical requirements, so that you can get started on your accelerated degree path.
4. Complete Your Degree
Shortly after your arrival, you’ll be immersed in your accelerated nursing education journey–completing required coursework, meeting fellow classmates from around the world, and gaining valuable experience through clinical practice. Within 12 months, you will successfully complete the program and earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
5. Licensure
Following the completion of your degree, inSpring will assist you in preparing for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam. Upon successfully passing the NCLEX-RN examination, you will be officially licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the United States!
6. Get Employed
inSpring will work to pair you with one of our healthcare organization employers, providing support throughout the process of obtaining the necessary employment authorization to start your first role as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the United States.

Program Requirements
Each program partner will have varying pre-requisite course requirements. inSpring will ensure candidates complete requisite coursework based on the program(s) they wish to apply. The current requirements below reflect program partners' University of St. Mary and MGH Institute of Health Professions.
Completed undergraduate degree (health sciences preferred)
3.0 cumulative converted US GPA
Equivalent of IELTS 6.5 english level
Completion of required pre-requisite courses (see below)

ABSN Programs offer eligible candidates to complete traditional, 3-4 year baccalaureate nursing programs over abbreviated timelines. Our current ABSN programs offer 12-month completion pathways.

Offering an accelerated nursing education requires candidates to have met specific eligibility criteria. Most notably are a prior baccalaureate degree and certain pre-requisite courses. Candidates are eligible to have previously completed pre-requisite courses evaluated for waiver. inSpring will assist candidates in collecting required documents (ex: course syllabi, academic transcripts) for waiver consideration.
